This creative project was a whimsical fairytale. Every detail was so flawlessly intentional it blended together like a painting.
And to have the opportunity to capture it was pure joy.
Working alongside the talented team of creatives that made this ethereal vision come to life was beyond inspiring. And if you’re looking for the good light, you will find it in Port Mouton at Bull Point Estate. Truly a dream venue.
To put together a project with this many details and moving pieces takes a village. There is no substitution for teamwork on a wedding day.

The idea of creating an ethereal modern shoot came to mind back in November, after the busy wedding season was over and I was majorly craving a creative project. I reached out to Michelle Gates to see if she would be interested in planning, and once we began working together, things just started to fall into place. It is so beautiful how an idea can evolve when the right people work together.
I quickly realized Michelle was not only someone I could trust, but also a person I really enjoyed working with. I personally like to describe Michelle as the Julia Roberts of the wedding planning industry. She has that megawatt smile and such an effortless way about her. Her attention to detail and determination on this project was both commendable and inspiring.
With having such a specific vision for this project made planning and executing straightforward yet, extremely labour and time intensive. Being so intensely set on a specific design made it easy to determine when certain elements did not fit, however, given the complexity, there were many factors that had to be, "just right" to pull the vision together. The entire team's commitment and attention to detail on this project was both focused and flawless.
When I walked into the finished space at Bull Point, it was everything and more. It surpassed all of my expectations...I had goosebumps.

There is something so timeless about this stationery created by Paper Chain Stationery. This incredibly detailed, warm and neutral palette paired perfectly with the theme of this shoot. I am in awe of everything Rebecca creates.
The custom made freshwater pearl jewelry, hand crafted by Aurum Pearls, is so elegant. I love the way it compliments Paper Chain Stationery's design!
An abundance of texture, neutral colour palette and a gorgeous floral design made this table photograph so elegantly. I love the lightness of the chiffon fabric paired with the black cutlery and rimmed charger plates. The ribbed glassware and stoneware napkin holders add another element of texture, without distracting from the main focus - the floating baby's breath floral installation.
